Sanora Pass via Stanislaus National Forest

The Sanora Pass is the second highest pass in the Sierras, and we rode over it! It's 9,624 ft. elevation overlooks winding rivers (800 miles of them!) , crashing waterfalls, and quiet meadows, and roadways lined by majestic pines dotted with colorful wild flowers. Truly a sight to behold. The 108 mile round trip was worth the stiff joints and sore bottoms the next day!

Chaz's bike has been overheating and it needs to be serviced in a place where we can watch a movie, spend a day at the pool, go to a buffet... while we wait.... what better place than Reno?!

Reno was a great stop, back in "civilization" with wifi and everything! We spent an evening at the movie watching "Despicable Me" What a great movie! The evening was complete with a dinner buffet at the Peppermill Casino... yes, I won 6.00, but I gave it back... aren't I nice!

Bike fixed, tanks and stomachs full, clothes clean... off to Susanville and beyond!
